Garden Open Days

Many thanks to everyone who supported Friends of Age Concern John &
Val’s 9th Annual Garden Open Days in aid of Age Concern during June 2009.

As you can see from the photos the garden looked glorious.

Even though the heavens opened at 4 o’clock on the first Sunday,
these two afternoons raised the amazing
total of £1475 towards Age Concern’s local services.

This takes the total raised by John & Val to over £11000.

Age Concern would like to thank both of them for their hard work and support
over many years.   We would also like to thank all the volunteers who have helped.

John & Val have decided to take a rest from opening their garden.
