Plant Sale - 25 May 2011

Age Concern in Basingstoke has held a Plant Sale for many years now.

Initially from a local community or village hall, but of late, we have combined this into the
Basingstoke Voluntary Services Charity Fayre, which is held in
Market Square in The Malls Shopping Centre.

This year due to the refurbishment of The Malls, we are holding the Plant Sale at
Church Cottage on Wednesday 25 May 2011 from 10 am to 2 pm.

You will find a huge selection of quality bedding plants and perennials all at reasonable prices.
We also hope to have some hanging baskets available.

Come along and browse the plants and have a cup of tea or a light lunch at the cafe. 
The plants will be in the school room at the front of Church Cottage - come and bag a bargain and brighten up your garden or window boxes!

Please note - there is no parking at Church Cottage, although it may be possible to pick up plants after purchase -
please speak to a member of staff on the day.

All plants are provided by Wolverton Plants, a local nursery who has helped
Age Concern for over 10 years now, in order to raise much needed funds for the local Charity.

The photo's on the right are from our plant sale in 2009.  As can be seen, our stall were very busy
helping customer with their purchases.  Volunteers will again be on hand to help prospective customers.
