Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is usually held in May, when ‘friends’
are invited to receive feedback on the Charities’ achievements during the past
year and also plans for the future.
This is usually coupled with a social event.
In 2007, the Good Companions’ provided musical entertainment
In 2008, feathered friends ‘Chelsea’ and ‘Topaz’ took centre stage when ‘friends’
John & Val gave a talk
all about barn and tawny owls.
In 2009, friends & guests gathered for a cream tea with the Mayor of
Basingstoke & Deane,
Cllr Brian Gurden &
Mayoress Mrs Gurden at
Church Cottage on 18th May.
We were delighted to present the Mayor
with an honorary Friends membership for his year in office,
which he
was pleased to accept.
