We are committed to helping older people throughout the Borough of Basingstoke & Deane. By becoming a ‘friend’, you help ensure that our work continues and that we can provide support to older people, where it is most needed.
Who are the ‘friends’ of Age Concern in Basingstoke?
The ‘friends’ of Age Concern in Basingstoke began in early 2005 bringing together people with an interest in,
and wishing to support, Age Concern’s work in the Basingstoke & Deane area.
An opportunity to get more involved!
‘Friends’ are invited to an
annual meeting for feedback on our achievements in the previous year.
We also hope our ‘friends’ will be able to actively support the charity.
For instance by helping at Fundraising
Events
and Flag Days,
organising their
own fundraising events, donating raffle prizes and
promoting our local services with their families and friends.
How much does it cost to join?
We ask for a minimum donation of £12 for a
single
membership and £20 for a joint membership per year. The
latter is aimed at couples or two individuals living at the same
address. We are, of course, delighted if you can give more
