Foot Clinics

Age Concern foot clinics run six weekly in various areas of Basingstoke & Deane. See Foot Clinics for locations. The clinics run on different days of the week, but not on a Friday, and are usually from 1 - 4 pm.

The receptionist is expected to collect the appointment book and cash tin from The Orchard before each clinic and return it afterwards.

You would be responsible for getting ready the waiting area, check the float, get clients cards ready and greet them when they arrive.

After their appointment, you are required to take payment and make a new appointment for them.

At the end of the clinic, you would need to pay the chiropodist and where necessary, for the room hire. Check that the cash taken tallies with the cash sheet. Return everything to the office.

Person specification:
Friendly and organised. You need to be a car driver as there is a need to come to the office before going out to the clinics.

Level of Commitment:
Clinics are once every six weeks – however, most receptionists do two clinics. We also have a need for a ‘floating’ receptionist to provide holiday cover.

Please go to the Foot Clinic page for more details.
