Fund raising
There are several ways in which you can help with fundraising.
Events: This would be on an occasional basis, possibly several times a year.
Flag Day Collections: We need more people who are able to help with occasional street collections in various locations such as the Town Centres, Chineham, etc.
Collection tin co-ordinator: We have placed some tins in local shops and need a person to look for new locations and arrange regular collection and placement of tins.
Raffle Tickets: We hold several raffles per year and are looking for people who would be able to sell raffle tickets for us.
Event Organiser: Do you enjoy planning and organising events? We are looking for forward thinking and dynamic people who are willing to take responsibility for organising events. If you think you have what it takes, then we would like to hear from you!
Grant & Trust application: We are looking for a person who has a
proven track record in applying for grants. You must be able to demonstrate good communication
skills, both written and oral, at all levels. You may also be
required to give talks or presentations at local companies.
You must be committed and should have some knowledge of charity
work. We expect that this would take a commitment of one day (or two
half days) per week in order to be effective.
We may not have covered every single opportunity how you could get involved in fundraising. If you have a sound, viable suggestion, please contact Maria.
